This series consists of unbound photocopied Department of Defence Facility Data Sheets - Air Force (Form AB19; Revised Sep. 79) for Facility Establishment Number 7016, RAAF Base Darwin.The covering Property Data Sheet defines the property, gives dates of acquisition and gazette refence of land parcels and has been signed by Squadron Leader W.J.J.Whitmore on 18 August 1980. The previous assessment of facilities was done in 1977. The 2002/3 Department of Defence Annual Report states that "land, building and infrastructure assets continue to be progressively revalued on a three year cycle by the Australian Valuation Office." Each Facility Data Sheet is divided into 2 parts. Part 1, Design, has details of facility purpose; current use; married quarters address where applicable; dimensions; total floor area; maximum height; storage capacity; accommodation; number of rooms; construction details; services and miscellaneous details including any related drawings. Part 2, Major electrical and mechanical installation data, has details including the Facility Establishment Reference Numbers.
